Ultra Hal can be your
digital secretary. He can help you be more organized, he can help you use your
computer, and he can entertain you.
Ultra Hal has many animated characters
to choose from and he speaks to you through your sound card and speakers with his own
voice! With the enhanced version you can speak to Hal using a
microphone and Hal's speech recognition engine (of course, you can
always type to him if you wish).
All you need to know in order to use
Ultra Hal is to speak English! Ultra Hal can understand
the natural
English language... after all, he's an Artificial Intelligence
program!

Ultra
Hal Assistant can chat about anything you want. Ultra Hal Assistant has a
huge conversational database so Hal will never get boring. Ultra Hal
is capable of saying billions of things (of course, it depends on the topics
that you bring up)!
Ultra Hal also
has the ability to learn. Ultra Hal's advanced artificial intelligence
parses sentences, and learns words, phrases, and whole remarks.
Ultra-Hal can reassemble learned material into new and original thoughts
and questions.
Ultra Hal can learn from every sentence that
you say, and after a number of sessions of chatting, your Hal will develop
interests and a vocabulary similar to yours.

Ultra Hal Assistant can do
more than just chat; he can be your assistant!
Ultra Hal can remember
anything you tell him. Use Hal's memory to remember phone numbers, e-mail
addresses, street addresses, appointments, birthdays, or anything else
that you can think of.
Hal can automatically dial phone numbers for you.
Hal can automatically start e-mails for you. Hal can automatically remind
you of important dates.
Here is a sample conversation with Hal that

for late 2003 include the ability to import characters from the Haptek TM
People Putty TM program! Haptek's program allows you to create
lip-synchronized, 3D animated characters from still photographs that will work
with UltraHal! Using the Haptek software and a bit of artistic
ability, you can make yourself (or anybody you know) into a lip-synchronized, 3D
animated character! Purchasers of Ultra Hal enhanced version 4.5
become eligible for free or extremely low-cost upgrades to Ultra Hal 5.0 as soon
